Easy Last Minute DIY Halloween Hoodie-Based Costumes for the Kids

Last Minute Easy Hoodie Costumes for Kids

Well, Halloween is tomorrow, and let’s face it, sometimes we procrastinate and by the time we attempt to buy a decent costume for our child, there is nothing left, but just the rejects in two sizes too big.  I’ve put together a list of easy hoodie costumes that are quick to put together.  Start off with a basic hoodie, and add some details out of felt. You can easily do this with a temporary hand stitch (recommended if you want to reuse the hoodie) or a glue gun for a super quick (and more permanent) result.  Click on the tittle or the image to be taken to the instructions.

The Shark

The first hoodie costume is by talented Lisa Storms.  I’ve chosen to feature the shark because it uses a hoodie as the base, but she has a couple of other ideas that would be very easy to put together.

The Monster

Another great idea by Lisa Storms:  a monster.

The Princess and the Frog

Adorable princess and frog costume for a brother and sister.

Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf

Another great idea from a classic children’s tale: Little Red riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf.

The Raven

Very cool raven costume.

That’s all for now.  Have a fun Halloween.
